After upgrading a Docs 2.0 CR1 iFix 002 deployment to CR2 iFix 003 on
a Windows 2012 R2 server we started to experience issues with generating
thumbnails.
The following error was printed in the SystemOut.log of the JVM hosting
the Conversion component when the thumbNail generating process was
started.

Found out via via that some how you require the following “libraries”
to be installed on your Windows 2012 R2 server hosting the JVM in
which the IBM Docs components are running.
For my situation I only required the x86 version to be installed. You can install
it simply on the server no restart is required and it immediately is effective
no need to restart any of the WebSphere JVM’s.
Kudos to Marin.
